I am not making any excuse,but you might consider the following things as the catalyst of my “outcry”:
1) I have actually seen and extremely well educated person (PhD from a top US university and also a former VC of Dhaka University) to shamelessly portray a dictator as the personification of Buddha. He used quotations from Doll’s House to justify his claim. Having seen that , I started believing that even the most educated ones can be bootlickers(ok,not sycophants)

@listless2lackater, mash34th made no mistake referring ‘SPEED the movie’ as a comedy. It’s FREE SPEACH Mr/Ms/mrs/whatever listless2lackater.
Now, like all others, I enjoyed ‘Khoj-The Search’ and laughed a lot through the whole show. It’s mostly, due to Ananto’s awkward delivering of serious dialogues. It was sooooo hilarious. I’ll definitely watch SPEED, and laugh my brains out. As long as Ananta is there, it’s a sure comedy.

I appriciate the effort of both “Khoj-The Search” (I watched the movie with my entire family and inspired others to do so)and the upcoming “The Speed”,but when you say that a commercial spy thrilller(no matter how well it is made) is on per with the pictures of Great Jaynul Abedin- it makes clear that you have no idea about the difference between Art and Commercials or The sophisticated essence of Jaynul’s art is way beyond your antenna.

this is like totally going to be the best film ever, even better than the original one, sUpA cool. It’s definitely on par with Jainul Abedin’s artworks, or The Last Tagore., or dare I say, even matir moyna.
How anyone can dare to call it comedy is beyond me. When It’s obviously an artistic rendition of the eternally heart wrenching tale of love, betrayal, destruction, random extras dancing about, magniloquent bengali secret agents, and Italian drug dealers with lifelike dummies.
